Privacy Notice
Effective September 1, 2026 · Version 2026-09-01
What this notice covers
This notice explains how HIM Robotics (“HIM”) handles personal information when you use HIM Arena, HIM Compute, our APIs, challenges, datasets, and related developer tools. It does not cover third-party services you choose to connect.
Information we collect
- Account information from your sign-in provider, such as name, email address, profile image, provider identifier, and verified email status.
- Builder content and metadata, including packages, source snapshots, policies, models, datasets, challenge definitions, job configuration, outputs, logs, media, and visibility choices.
- Usage and technical information, including page and feature use, job events, approximate device and browser information, security events, IP address where recorded by our authentication or hosting providers, and diagnostics.
- Billing, credit, transaction, and payment-related records.
- Communications, support requests, feedback, and information you provide when joining a waitlist or applying for access.
Product analytics and session replay
We may use analytics and session-replay tools to understand feature use, errors, performance, and navigation. These tools may collect interactions, page state, device information, and identifiers. Do not enter secrets into fields that are not intended for secrets.
How we use information
- provide, operate, authenticate, and secure the Services;
- run jobs, preserve evidence, deliver outputs, and bill credits;
- manage access, support users, investigate failures, prevent abuse, and enforce challenge rules;
- improve reliability, usability, capacity planning, and product design;
- communicate about accounts, security, service changes, and opportunities you request; and
- comply with law and protect users, HIM, and others.
How we share information
We share information with infrastructure, authentication, analytics, communication, storage, payment, and security providers that process it for us; with collaborators you authorize; when you publish material; during a financing, reorganization, merger, acquisition, or sale; or when reasonably needed to comply with law, protect safety, or enforce our rights. We provide any choices required by applicable law.
Visibility and robotics data
Private material is available to the accounts, operators, and providers involved in delivering and securing the Services. Public challenges, profiles, datasets, rankings, and results may be viewed, indexed, shared, or copied by others. HIM personnel may access account, content, compute, usage, log, and artifact information as reasonably needed to operate, support, secure, and enforce the Services. Review visibility before publishing and do not place secrets in uploads, prompts, logs, or commands.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, preserve result and billing integrity, maintain security and audit records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by data type and visibility. We use technical and organizational safeguards designed for the sensitivity of the data, but no system is perfectly secure.
Your choices and rights
Where provided by the product, you may change visibility and revoke API tokens. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to object to or limit certain processing. Exceptions may apply, and HIM may verify requests. HIM will not discriminate against you for exercising rights provided by applicable law.
HIM may send product, challenge, and prize announcements to the email on your account. You may unsubscribe from promotional email; account, security, legal, and service communications may continue.
International users and children
HIM operates from the United States and service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. The Services are for users age 18 or older and are not directed to children.
